SPAM Emails - Board info hacked?
 

Have not visited this site in ages, but I got two emails today to the totally unique email address I gave only to this site. Let's just say I got an invitation I'm not likely to use (below). Anyone else get a similar email?

I got that one too!

There is no evidence of a hacker infiltrating the forum's systems. Normally a real hack results in actual damage to the site.

We have traced the source addresses for the spam emails, and they do not match any board accesses, or members.

However, as a precaution we have turned OFF the ability to email members/friends from within the forum.

I did also delete the spammer who was sending the buddist emails.
