Salvage Boxster Turned Open Wheel Racer

Check out this awesome garage built racer. Wesley took the powertrain and miscellaneous bits from a 2002 Boxster with 200k miles and a whole lot of quarantine time to build something really unique.

Love to see this type of backyard engineering taking a tired example of the 986 chassis and turning it into a lightweight racer ready for the track. Watch till the end to see its proper shakedown on running on track.

Follow Wesley as he continues improving and documenting his garage build, hopefully we can get him to join our community and document here as well!
