330-350hp on wheels with meth and 0.2 bar more boost. A porsche 911 turbo overrun me a couple days ago at a strait road, but later in curves my boxster was a lot faster even with friends in car. Maby the driver in 911 turbo was a chicken but a boxster is totally awesome in corners. |

Look at ebay if interested. Nothing fits from box so have to massage the plastic. My boxster is not a original with stripes and stickers. Every part nead a mecanics, good luck if u like the style of my car. |
Great looking set-up!....
Almost as I would do it!.... Very interested in the methanol/water Injection,do you have any information on this system?, I have a TPC supercharger in my 98. As luck would have it,I also have a 10" andorid stereo, in my other toy, 2011 jk Wrangler. I thought about getting one for the 986 but decided to keep it stock for now. Great looking toy!..... It will work fantastic. TPC boxster kit Boost 0.5-0.6 bar to keep the heat and engine safe. U can with meth/ water run more boost if u want or keep the same boost. Anyway it will be a upgrade for your box |
Robbe986, you don't happen to have pictures of the methanol injection system installed, do you?....
I think the best place to mount the tank and pump would be in the trunk, right next to the 7th injector module.... Do you have a 7th injector in your TPC kit?, or did you get the Unichip piggy back instead?.... Great thread!..... |
TPC Turbo kit is $7500, and the methonol injection $1500. Wonder how it affects relabillity.

But in general: Boxster engines is ****************quality from the factory. So the relabillity is not good from the start. TPC kit is ok |
Robbe986, you don't happen to have pictures of the methanol injection system installed, do you?....
Nope i dont Meth system cost 400-500 dollar for my setup. I Have a extra piggyfuel ECUMASTER at home so i probably build my own kit. And only buy the nossle/injector I think the best place to mount the tank and pump would be in the trunk, right next to the 7th injector module.... I think so too. A frend of mine used to work at saab as engineer and they did some major tests on turbo engines with water injection He told me that the best place for the meth/water injector is with the same spot as extra fuel injectors. Do you have a 7th injector in your TPC kit?, or did you get the Unichip piggy back instead?.... 7th injector Great thread!.....[/QUOTE] Thanks ! |
