It’s dirty, but still the best

That’s one nice looking car. Any details on the mods?

Very nice, that front bumper looks great.
Lets get some photos of the rear bumper now :cheers: |
Wow those must be some sticky tires!!
|
Haha!
You know that lever that pulls up is also for parking along with doughnuts.
Mods that I can think of: Ingo Noak Tuning front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts eBay led lights from litronic (they say they aren’t compatible, but you just have to disconnect the light washers (takes an extra 3.5 minutes) and then it’s like taking your oem lights in and out. Black side vents New trunk hood with integrated spoiler from some place I can’t remember. Oem spoiler deleted. Black “Porsche” emblem Black led tail lights from eBay Topspeed exhaust from eBay with secondary cat delete Black exhaust tips from amazon Guards red center console Guards red trim strips Shifter from a 987 Boss CarPlay receiver with all the necessary hardware from crutchfield (I just wanted CarPlay for everything and this was the cheapest receiver. Oh yeah, dash speakers brand forgotten from crutchfield Turbo look 18’s from the 997 era aftermarket replicas from wheel dynamics, plastidipped gloss black, but this weekend they will be obsidian black pearl If I forgot anything, I’ll post more when I put up pictures of the dirty back end. |
Oh yeah...
Also:
Some kind of silver (arctic or sport package) storage lids on the door Guards red bumperettes Black trim on roll bar delete for now because I want to plastidip those gloss red to make the rollbars appear beefier since the metal is matching guards red (the newer boxsters make our roll bars look wimpy) |
Hey Drill, The car is just amazing buddy.

Where did you source the bumper covers? I saw the brand, but not a dealer...

straight from Germany
@geof3
you want to hear something awesome? back when I was looking to do some serious mods to the 986 body I looked around and found ingonoaktuning.de and used google translate to place an order. they emailed me and told me how much shipping would be, which was a lot, and asked if I agreed to the order with that added to the total. BUT, it was still CHEAPER than going through a distributor and their markup. If I remember correctly, I think it was half or maybe a third cheaper. that's a big chunk of change seeing as most people will still have to pay someone who knows how to work with auto fiberglass to get these things to fit. |
