7 years down the slippery slope! Make sure you have fun

It's been a great 7 years! Looking back I've had a lot of fun with this car, Its made its way to a dedicated track at now but it was a blast sharing a little bit of life with it when it was on daily driver duty. Make sure you don't spend to much time hiding your Boxster away in your garage guys! Cheers

Day 1 and day 7x365...you do the math

Well said. Life is short and these cars are not appreciating assets so get your payback now by driving them every day rain or shine. The "enjoyment" factor expressed in these photos alone are worth more than any amount of time trying to make these cars last. Why indeed...

You know, I wish you'd enjoyed owning your Boxster. ;)

Nice Photos!

I use mine as a daily driver and the two best times of the day are leaving for work and Leaving work. As I also live in Florida, my top is down almost everyday, which really makes for a very different experience with the car.

Nice

You can run top down at your track events? The ones I run require top up or arm restraints

They require top down actually with no arm restraint requirement. I'm going to start instructing in June so now that I'm responsible for other's safety I'm going to pick up two sets. I actually run with the top totally removed.

Had to laugh at the camping pic. That's exactly the way my wife looks whenever it's less than 80°F.

Safety is #1
Good idea on getting the arm restraints

Thanks for reminding us all that these cars were made to be driven. I have been guilty of late of overprotecting my 04S (afraid it might get wet ,dirty, etc.) consequently it spends a lot of time covered in my garage. I need to DRIVE that thing!

I remember when you first posted that S2000 video. Great save. Very cool to see your journey. My wife hates to ride in mine, especially now that it has Recaros, but to be fair she also hated it before...
