If you can find one, try adding the sport package trunk lid without the additional spoiler attached to visually clean up the rear end (removes the third brake light and pop up spoiler hump).

Wow, if I could photoshop like you I could have saved many hours of fiberglass work! Would you be willing to do some other stuff for me? I get lots of comments that the rear looks like a z8 , I love the deck lid idea, I didn't know such an animal existed. Thanks!

Certainly, if you have any other ideas, shoot them my way. I'd be happy to help out.

I'm really loving what you've accomplished with your car so far! I wish I had your fabrication skills to take my car to the next level.

One other thing that might be interesting would be to use 993 door mounted mirrors. That looks like what they used on the prototype, and might visually streamline the windshield a bit more.

Thanks Ill probably take you up on it. I love your ideas. At this point I just want to make small tweaks and just enjoy driving it. You can help me decide which side vent treatment to put on for the parade next week, I've been looking at them so long I honestly I cant tell which one I like better.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1465608150.jpg

I think this side vent goes better with the whole theme, just my 2 cents. The car looks great either way

Agree. Silver. It's a marvelous looking car, especially in person. I can't go to Parade, but I know you'll turn a few heads.

Tightbox, would you photoshop the black surround of the stock louver body color for me? Leave the center vents gold for now. Thanks!

The tails that tightbox photo-shopped follow the lines nicely. As long as the lights still have good visibility, I think that would be an improvement

They are Rh one piece wheels, I think I know of someone who has a set for sale pm me your # and I'll check if he still has them. Also I have 3 that I can sell, I bought 2 sets but one 10" had a crack in the spoke.

Sweet roaster man, what a curve change it did - unique. Nice results.

Nice wheels also :)

Thanks! Yes I was very shocked and excited when the writer (David Mathews)and editor for Pano approached me at the end of the concourse and asked to do a photo shoot the next day!

Looks like I was right!

Seriously, the prototype inspired build was a great idea carried out greatly. Props to you for getting the write up. I was just as excited to see it in Pano as I was to see it in person at Hershey. Congrats!

Saw that this car sold recently on BAT and had some additional work done since this thread was last updated.

Car looked great when completed!

You wouldn't still have the fiberglass bucks for the tonneau cover (if they ever existed at all) would you?! Looks sooo much better than the OEM speedster humps, IMO.
