I noticed in earlier pic your car had a somewhat flat sheen to the hood. Was that some type of protection from road rash applied? Your later pic shows a nice shine. Just curious as I'm looking to do something to my hood for protection. Car looks really clean

kjc and grc, can you edit you posts to provide links to the hi-res versions of your images. I'm not asking to post them here (because the site doesn't allow it), but add links to a dropbox or some other image hosting site.
Thanks.
Tony

I gotta add this one posted by a European forum member from a loooooong time ago. No idea whose boxster this is, but I've enjoyed the pic as a desktop wallpaper for a decade...

Hushpuppy. You're a skilled photographer. What filter did you use on image that shows the back of the car?

Thanks! I use a circular polarizer on all my lenses. They work wonders for shiny things, and cars are just very curvy shiny things. Although it didn't really come into play much in that image...that one is all about Adobe Lightroom :D

Looks like a really decent ND filter, but I'd like to know as well :)

Canon 5D?

I've been tempted to get a Top Gear style graduated ND filter, but alas I've stuck with the CP.

Nikon D750 :) I prefer Nikon bodies, but I miss shooting with Canon lenses. Sold all my Canon stuff for Nikon a few years ago and never looked back.

Do you have a link to a hi-res version of this image?
It's absolutely stunning.

amagalla 05-13-2016 07:47 PM

can you post the hi-res link for this?^^^^

RandallNeighbour 05-14-2016 01:47 PM

Sorry, I don't have a high res image. This is as good as it gets.

amagalla 06-11-2016 08:15 PM

Bump on this. Any other great hi-res pictures to share?

Tony

I suppose I can throw a few more of my photos in the mix. I had to send my D750 for a recall so unfortunately I can't take any new snaps for a while.

I've been pretty inconsistent in editing this car, so some pics still show all the sap boogers and scratches....
