red,

were they easy to remove?, how many coats of paint?, what type of paint , did you use..??

looking to do that myself!

Yeah, they are really easy to remove. You need an allen wrench and the bolts are underneath the bumper. I used 2 coats of primer and 3 sets of Arctic silver spray paint. It cost me $2.00 bucks

I agree, painted bumperettes look MUCH better than the black (unless you have a black Boxster). I shaved my emblem too. Makes it easier to wash/wax.

Thumper did you paint them yourself like redman?

REdman, did you sand the bumperette first? Did you use a clear coat yet?
bumperplugs.com charge a nice chunk of change for this.
I agree its look much much better but parking on the street here in NYC is out of the question if I do this.

Where do you buy Arctic Silver Spray paint? I want to do this as well. Perfectlap, if it really is an easy DIY job then ieven if your bumps get banged up in NY, you can just redo them yourself. I can't justify paying somehting like $400 for them at bumperettes.

That's a great color on your car. It's actaully the color my wife would've preferred, but couldn't find one anywhere.
