Thanks Bayley,

Yes that is actually what we are going to try first because I do suspect that moving the transmission back just a little is the cause. I'm gonna get the bad axle cleaned up and see what went bad other then just pulling apart. I know there are a few raised areas on the outer portion that I saw but could be more - find out soon enough!
