I always loved the GT2 bumper, but went with the Techart 997 because it was louder... noisier... more of a head turner.. Can't say I like the Carrera GT nipples on your wheels, but what you have there is a good looking car.
Although I must admit. I always went go before show. That's why there's a 3.2L engine re-sleeved to a 3.6 waiting for me in SoCal as soon as I get the funds. |
I'm sorry to mess with your great photoshop, but I had to try an addition - Carrera GT style dual projectors!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ps19c2db42.jpg Would need careful execution, and serious custom work, like molded fiberglass housings, but it could be awesome. And hey, if it turns out really good, take it over to someone over there in China and have it mass produced for the rest of us. |

Yeah, that would be killer! Getting the design just right would be difficult though. No led strips or anything trendy. Staying somewhere between rice and clean. :)
It's all you, bud! Let me know if I can help, though. You are in the land of opportunity now, and as an entrepreneur, I'd be having a field day getting products to market if I could navigate the factories, and form good business relationships. |

--- Good luck with this project. From a business standpoint, considering the massive world market for this car, it really could do well if it's aesthetically pleasing. Especially anywhere that isn't America. We don't seem to buy parts anymore. I wouldn't even let this forum's opinion sway you. Yeah, they are a little ricey for a porsche -- being aftermarket in the first place almost makes it not worthy of the badge -- but products and consumerism are both a result of compromises. Once it's on the market, then it's time to see who's interested. #1 mistake I've seen in forum driven product development is to get people excited and keep them updated with progress and a list of buyers, only to see everyone's visions dashed at the end and bug out. Present to market, and get enthusiastic clicks on your paypal, instead of replies to a thread in anticipation. This comes from a lot of experience watching how it goes. Consult within your company, or in private with designers until it's ready. Get the commerce side well sorted and diversified into online search and marketing streams, then launch. |
