End of the Rainbow - Gold or Ceramic ?

2 Attachment(s)
While driving the D-mobile back from it's IMS-oscopy, we encountered a magnificent rainbow arching over the roadway. I couldn't help but wonder - was it gold or ceramic at the end of this rainbow ? Or was someone trying to steal my lucky charms ?

Whoa there JD - that looks like rain!
What, i repeat what was the the DM doing out in the rain!

Rule 101, never get your car wet unless its detail day! Image the road dirt and spray that you picked up. I feel quite ill just thinking about it.

I was coming back from the IMS service - so I had no choice. Funny though, in all the years that I've had the D-mobile, by accident it's only seen rain 2 or 3 times. However, we've had so much wet weather in New England this year, I've been caught in the rain twice in the last week.

Shouldn't HQ have the DM airlifted home by V-22s with a loaded out HH-60 escort? I mean can you really have that kind of asset to national security out on the streets in the rain?

Its a good omen

Nice shots of the rainbow. Rainbows are considered a good omen in the northern hemisphere, so I would take its appearance as an endorsement of your choice in proactive engine preservation. I can share your pain about the rain . We are getting our seasonal quota here in the "sunshine" state. A man's gotta live with the elements though. My Boxster does handle well when that circumstance occurs.I selected the Pilot Sport A/S for this reason. I got caught the other day and had to drive with the top up, it just seemed unnatural, muffled and confining.
