Why not? It also serves as a dvd player/cd player/radio and also gives me up to the second traffic updates with alternates routes if needed. TV in the Visors coming soon!

3pc O.Z. Racing Vela. 18X8.5 in the front and 18X10 in the rears. Rears have about a 3inch lip on them :).

So clean... I love the look with all clear lights and a silver emblem on a silver car. HOT!

ljd-924se 11-01-2005 01:30 PM

very nice!

what kind of speakers are the e6450 and 250/1 pushing?

Jeph 11-01-2005 03:31 PM

Avic N1 or N2? That's the deck I'd like to have. At this point, your car is what mine aspires to be. But brother, don't get TVs in the visors!

Explain to me why you would want this done.

Focal Utopia 5ws 5" subs in each door, 2 way Focal K2 in the dash 4" and 1" tweeter, and 4 (two on each side) JL TR350 3.5" behind the seats. All that runs off the Six channel. The Mono runs one JL Audio 8W7 in the passanger footwell.

Avic N2. The TVs in the visors are just for show, i figured why not, but still am not 100% sure if im going to go through with it.

DVD movies my man, cant go wrong with that.... Also already as a tv tuner built in...

threpwood 11-01-2005 11:40 PM

The rims are very nice! The 6 channel audio is a nice setup and I'm drooling to have one :D

kajita 11-02-2005 09:07 AM

i'd say get the visor monitors if you want it. (guilty, i use to have one in my 350Z)
but i think the built in monitor in the rear view mirror is safer for the driver.

my box is set up pretty much like yours except for the subs in the back and the footwell. N~i~c~e...... must sound real good.

ps. did you do all the audio work yourself?

Yup, a friend of mine helped me out with the wood work and i did all the electrical wiring...Took about 3days to complete. Still have minor adjustments that need to be made ( a cover for the amps so i still can have some use in the front trunk). But nothing that cant wait.

Its a Pioneer Avic - N2. I believe retail on it is some 1,999.99, i had a buddy of mine from GoodGuys hook me up before they shut down their car audio department. I was able to get it for $1,500.00. Installation wasnt too bad. I had to tap into the speed pulse senor of the car, ebrake cable, and Reverse light. Also run the wire for GPS antenna. Everything else was pretty much like installing any other stereo. Took about 2 days to install.....I am very anal when it comes to installing anything. Everything has to be perfect, no exposed wires, no traces of anything left.

Hey, I just bought the Pioneer Avic N2 Navigation, and also all the harnesses/stuff needed to hook it up. Is it just a connect the part kinda thing? or is there a lot of splicing involved and such. Thank you very much!!!

Really like your boxster!
Also interesting, We have pretty the same taste I got the same box and color, and a similar audio setup!
Did you put the Utopia's in the original enclosure?

And what about the JL TR 350? Are you happy with them? I'm still looking for my rear fils!

For my Headunit, I chose for a double DIN Kenwood DDX 7025, really fit's nice, I'll post pics soon!

Btw is your car lowered? Or do you have spacers?
