Welcome Cosmo, great looking ride!!
|
Nice wheels and black paint looks sweet.
|
Welkom
Mooie auto. Ik hou van de koplampen naar de meest. Nice wheels as well. |
Er uitzien gevaarlijk !
|
Holland looks like Lake Tahoe!
Those black Depo Headlights are really starting to grow on me... |

summer. Very nice roads! Holland is flat like a pancake ;) |
Great looking ride! Boxster Red interior?
The black wheels - they look okay because the car is black, but in general I don't get why they are so popular. But that's just me. The headlights look fantastic. Unfortunately they probably wouldn't look that good on my seal gray car... |
Welcome! Very nice car and I love those rims!
Veel plezier hier! ;-) |
Very nice car! Welcome! Start posting about your mods.
|
Is that a hole cut into the trunk lid??
|
very nice ride. do you have coilovers or regular lowering springs.

The engine is partially rebuild and with stainless steel manifolds. Also an bypass exhaust is fitted. The box sounds great now! Exterior I have fitted LED taillights and black chrome projector headlights with HID. Looks ten years younger and the vision is also much improved! Also LED flashers and license plate lighting. The rear spoiler, mirrors and sidefenders are carbonfiber. I also have a new convertible top assembly, radiators and suspension parts. Drives very good now! |

Cosmo, what kind of finish/wax are you using? |
WoW! PRETTY!
…and the car is nice too! Love Holland! People are nice - just don't leave you car stereo for more than a minute! Lots of places to drive it like you stole it! Just watch out for those "red lights". Guess you get good at driving in the wet (rain) too. |

yeah enough redlights here in Holland;) For daily use and in the rain I get my Mini Cooper S, the box doesn't like rain;) |
Hallo Cosmo,
Groeten van Long Island and congratulations with the pretty Boxster. That second picture seems to be on the A15? Betuwelijn op de achtergrond? We have a house in Tiel where we usually spend August every year, so it looks familiar. Family telling me that it's not really top down weather in The Netherlands anymore. I've put all seasons on Boxxie and I'm still driving around until they start putting salt on the roads. Hurray for global warming! |
@Nieuwenhzn
That's right! The picture is taken on a parking along the A15. Very sharp seeing!;) I've also lived in Tiel. How did you get there from Long Island? With this weather my Boxx stays in the garage with all the salt! greetz |
The semi-circular overhead line supports are a clear give away, the Betuwelijn seems to be the only railroad in the world that has them.
I actually never spent more than a month at a time in Tiel. We got the house built in 1994, my wife lived in it for 2 years while I worked in Geneva. In 1996 I got headhunted and we both moved to the US, first to Boston and now for the last 12 years on Long Island. Not too bad, although the weather right now reminds me of Christmas in The Netherlands, i.e. rain! Mmm, just checked the weather forecast for Tiel, remarkably the same as for Long Island. It should be better weather around Christmas, maybe I'll take Boxxie top down for a Christmas runabout. Last year there was too much salt on the roads already. Merry Christmas! |
Nice story, nieuwhzn!
Here just a few more pics of the box http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1356980115.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1356980153.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1356980215.jpg |
