Pet Showcase

It seems that there's a lot of members who are as passionate about their pets as they are about their boxsters . With that said, I think a Pet Showcase is in order ! Here's Ruby and Pearl, 2 sisters that I won in a poker game while on assignment in Bombay .

This is Bucko...well one of his many names. I have other adopted ones too. He is a 20lb Porsche enthusiast.

Checking out my seats last year before I refurbished them:

I love big dogs (Golden Retriever breed) I had an opportunity last year to have 2 Siberian Huskies puppies that my co worker is giving me for free coz' they are moving to an apartment but I don't have space in my house to raise them

But here's my 3 dogs that I inherit from my kids. As soon as my both kids turn 20, my wife and I have become a proud owner of these 3 who always share the same couch when they take naps in the afternoon
Precious (Beagle), Nala (Maltese/Mutt) and Pixie (Yorkie)

And this one right here, she knows she is the princess of the house :-)

Good entries, all. This is Jake:

And some action shots...the first showing his unnatural preoccupation with any sort of focused light (flashlight, laser pointer, reflection or, as here, light refracted through a pair of eyeglasses), the second just him rompin' in the snow.

one of my favorite photos, taken when my sister-in-law, niece and nephew were visiting. Gavin must have found some left-over food and Kirby was just happy just being included.

My golden retriever (her name is Lady) goes most everywhere with me in either of our sedans (the Porsche just freaks her out, top up or down and she scratches the crap out of the interior so I don't take her around in it.)

This shot, with the sun coming in and making her look rather spectacular, is titled, "Our Lady of the Immaculate Self-Perception." Definitely one of my better iphone pix.

If you've never had a golden retriever, they spoil you with their disposition and you'll probably never get another kind of dog afterward. Of course, Lady sheds at least enough fur to knit another full golden retriever weekly, but it's worth it. We shall only have goldens for the rest of our lives.

Yep, you are correct, Sir...wonderful dogs. In 20+ years of small animal practice, I've only had maybe 2 Goldens that I had to be cautious handling---and with them, it was due to fearfulness, not a dominant aggressiveness. I'm not sure that that can be said about any other breed I've ever handled. They smother you with their love, even post-vaccination!
