Hi, if u like to order a top and u do not trust paypal or our company than go to your Bank and open a letter of credit. Fees are perhaps the same as by paypal.

We are praud about Z- top

Do you guarantee it to seal out rain?

Does it seal out wind noise as well as Porsche hard top?

Does the ztop require work from a professional shop for fitment and installation like most aftermarket fiberglass? Or does it really only need paint and can be installed "as is" by owner?

If a Boxster already has a hardtop, does the ztop come with everything needed to install it?

Is the glass actually glass or plastic? Does an actual Cayman window fit?

Does the hatch hold open with struts like the trunk?

Is the ztop locked when closed using the existing electrical lock in the trunk?

I would really like to see pictures of the inside. Can you past some Art ?

Hi, for first fitment might be better if you have or know some one with knowledge to handle tools.
All hardware to assemble the top are including

If you already has a top you do not need more .... all are complet exept the insert/bolts for the side look. but that will be even not included if u order a OEM top at ur local dealer

Is the glass actually glass or plastic? Does an actual Cayman window fit?
all glasses are real, tempered and heating rear glass, cayman window will not fit
Does the hatch hold open with struts like the trunk?
the hatch you can open like ur trunk, and will hold with 2 shokes

Is the ztop locked when closed using the existing electrical lock in the trunk?

will locked and open like OEM

Does it seal out wind noise as well as Porsche hard top?
might be a bit more...because includes now a hatch.... but no complains untill now

This thing is junk. IMO my .02 buy a cayman if you like the look or get a factory hardtop. Sorry but........ Junk

brp987 11-01-2012 06:11 PM

If installed right its quieter than a softop but def. louder than the inside of a sedan or cayman

Not my cup of tea, can't see making my Boxster a Cayman.

I like the sunshine and the top down, but if I lived in the mid-west or east would be great for winter months. But then again a hardtop would do the job easier.

I guess you can go back and read the early posts. I advised everyone (those few who didn't already know) that these tops are not made and haven't been for about 3 years. Regardless of what the claimed maker of these says, he (if he is in fact the maker) doesn't make them and only wanted the advance money for money's sake. This thread (as any involving Zeintop questions other than buying an old used one) should be stopped because new folk read these and think they're still around.
