New car, new member!

Here's my new (used) Boxster! 02 Speed Yellow S model with Sport Design & Bose package + 18" Carrera wheels and only 36k miles. Sweet little ride! I had an 84 911 but this thing trounces that car in every way (and I had the 911 tricked out for tracking). We are loving it so far!http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1324576741.jpg

I knew your yellow sensors would be-a-tingling!

When we were shopping around, I really wanted a Polar Silver but the wife absolutely fell in love with the Speed Yellow. Guess who wears the pants?

If that's the case, you should get a leather jumpsuit like me .

There seems to be a lot of seafood lovers on this site, because members are always picking up on that sign . :)

Focus people!!!! The car, the car! :D

To the OP: that is a very clean find. And yes, the 80's 911 usu do not stand a chance against a 986 in the track. Track hard my friend!!!!

So I have to ask, Mr. Danger, what that aerokit is called (manufacturer) and did you install it yourself? What did you do the rear of the car - if the front and sides look that amazing, surely you couldn't leave the ass alone.

The front bumper and side skirts are Hamann, and the rear 997 style bumper is from CSR Automotive in Germany . The cost of the "kit" was very ex$pensive. And the cost of the install was even more ex$$pensive .

Yowza! Very nice. Out of me league financially, but inspiring nonetheless. You know you're gonna get that ride stolen don't you?

you got the right color.

In retrospect, I am very glad to have gotten the Speed Yellow car. Although I haven't been pulled over by Colorado's finest yet (despite the fact they can see me coming from 3 miles away). I kind of wish I got the yellow "roll bars" instead of the gray that comes with the Design Package but I can live with it right now.
