changing audio unit
 

does anyone know how to take out the double din stereo/sat nav unit in boxster s, cant find where to put keys in to remove unit! i am blonde by the way! :confused:

Get a flashlight and try to move the unit around, peering in the side cracks where it meets the housing. Should be able to see where the clips are. Also--you should be able to pull the unit out about 1/8-1/4 inch just using a flathead screwdriver at the bottom and top. This will allow you to see inside as well. I have not worked on a 986 with a oem Mac unit, but I would assume the keys should unclip and clip about half way down on each side of the unit. Good luck!
