Box' on Salt
hi ye fellow porschephiles! this is my 2-month old boxster. after plunking down 10k for it and taking a weekend honeymoon trip to utah from my home in WA i'm broke so who knows how long i can hold on to it heheh (the irony!).
this is off the bonneville salt flats. no, i didn't gun it out here. |
Cool! Love the pic. Must have been a blast. I bought my Boxster in Utah but didn't get a chance to go to the salt flats.
|
Great pict! I'd love to see a video of a box going all out on the flats....
|
Definitely a wallpaper shot!

i read that it's bad juju to drive on the salt. not just because it's illegal (the salt layer is a quarter inch thick in most places and mud underneath) but more importantly as you drive all that salt kicks up into the undercarriage and all the nooks and crannies of your car.
it's not the kind of thing you can just take care of with your garden hose. ras ps. I actually turn many of my travel pics into computer wallpaper for widescreen monitors. i just added this one. see the last on this link, then use the all sizes>original to get to the main file and right-click save to your computer. http://www.flickr.com/photos/rasielcom/sets/72157600709895236/ |
