My new '99 986
 

Hey guys, bought a 99 986 with 60K miles few months back, just now getting some pics up to post here. Also my first post, let me know what you guys think of my triple black box.

Have learned a ton from this board and have started doing quite bit of DIY with the info here and elsewhere on the web. Thank you to everybody!!

Mods done by previous owner:
1. Clear side markers
2. Updated rear lights
3. Spoiler
4. Removal of rear Boxster logo
5. 19" Wheels

Projects completed by me thus far:
1. Oil and filter change
2. Fuel filter change
3. Coolant tank change (started leaking about 2 weeks after buying the car)
4. Spark plug and tube/o-ring change
5. AUX input addition
6. Pollen filter change
7. Radiator cleaning after dropping the front bumper (man there was a ton of garbage in there)
8. Red clip
9. Serpentine belt change

Projects to be done:
1. Throttle body cleaning
2. ? 987 short shift kit
3. Crios exhaust mod
4. Litronic headlights

That is a nice looking 99. Love the wheels. What are those? Where did you get them?

re: the wheels. I wish I knew exactly what they were. previous owner had them installed. all I know is they are 19" and look great and were a big selling point for me when I bought the car.
