road trip and a zillion montana hoppers
 
in honor of 25 yrs, it was time to do a trip to idaho, the first one was in a black scirocco back in 1984, this time in the boxster black too.

in order of destinations starting and ending in saskatoon
medicine hat
Coeur d'Alene
clarkston
enterprise
ontario
boise
idaho falls
victor
lewistown
malta

total mileage about 3800 km in 6 days, in the process we touched saskatchewan, alberta, bc, idaho, washington, oregon, wyoming and montana

WOW---I've never seen the front end of a P-car that goobered up with bugs.

We don't get a lot of grasshoppers here but every 5 years or so we see the great butterfly migration in March. I just cleaned out my radiators and about 20 of those guys were still in there, along with sand, ciggy butts, paper trash, tire marbles, bird feathers, rabbit fur, and who knows what else. No $100 bills though. Rats!

When you get home you may want to pull the nose off the car and clean out your rads before those bugs get really nasty in there. :eek:
