temperature gauge light
Ive owned my Boxster for about a year, havent had any problems , but a few little issues. The most recent, is tah every once in awhile, my Temperature red light will BLINK??? The temp doesnt go much beyond normal, but it BLINKS??? Anyone know if this is a typical occurance? Maybe it is a warning of some kind that radiator is low, or some thing is not right??? Please help, Im kinda tired of dropping my car off fro the day, and paying 300.00 to find out it was something I could do at home...

Check the coolant level(cold engine) it can cause the light to come on if it's getting low. Search in the forum about post on the rad cap and what type of coolant you may need and any other possible causes for any coolant loss. This should be in the cars owners manual. Good luck and hope it's nothing serious.

I had the same problem. The red light was blinking and i added more water to the bottle at the rear and eveything was fine....
Also make sure the cap is on tight.... |
