I've started getting my new (to me) Lapis Blue to a point where I'm excited about it. Here I've polished part of it, and put the 18" Carreras on.

There's still more work to be done, but I'm pretty happy so far.

want to come polish mine next? the nice thing about silver is I can drive it for months without a wash and it still looks clean :D

amagalla 01-17-2015 08:41 PM

Yeah, I used to have a Seal Grey one that was the same way. When all cleaned and polished, I think Lapis Blue looks the best. For day to day driving, Seal Grey, all the way.

Nice view BruceH. It reminded me of one of my old photos I came across recently of my office window years ago along the Macedonia-Serbia border. I get uncomfortable if I get much higher than a few thousand feet AGL though.

This model doesn't seem to show the IMS bearing falling apart.

This is the design I am looking forward.. somehow very exotic.
Thoughts?

I might add a wing to the list after the boot / trunk in fiberglass swap.
Which should look something like that:

Took some glamour shots of the Lapis Blue today. Let me know what you think.

This does set the car apart. But what are you gonna do about the turn signals and reverse light if you covered those areas up?

Happy St Patricks day everyone.

Out of hibernation at last, fitted some new brakes rotors/discs & pads, cleaned up the wheels and calipers then out for a drive today on some of the great roads in the Glens of Antrim, these cars corner so well, I nearly forget how much fun they are to drive.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1426641334.jpg

Please don't tell me it's at the weekend, I planned going to the NY motor show this Friday then fly home on Saturday, I visited Herseys last week and didn't notice any information on the Porsche gathering.

P.S. Those speedster humps look great on your car.

embryoguy@mac.com 04-03-2015 07:38 PM

Thanks guys. Its on the 18th of this month.sat. I always make a list of parts I need or may need in the near future :) Not only do you get to look at a huge parking lot full of porsches but a flea market of everything porsche :) and eat great crab cakes :) just hope the weather is good this year. If anyone wants to meet up fri night before for a drink let me know. I know of a good spot near by.
