Got the 00 Boxster S home tonight

After a pretty tough day working through all the hoops, including a PPI and final negotiations with the seller, got our new 2000 Boxster S in Speed Yellow home tonight. I'm pretty wipped at the moment but had to log on to post a quick picture and look up the option codes.

I am psyched to say the least. The car has 24K miles on it with a nice set of options to include Litronics, heated seats, Bose sound system, computer, and the mechanics comment that it doesn't get much better than this for a used car. Also came with an aftermarket Borla exhaust that sounds sweet as punch.

While decoding the options, I was pretty pleased to find that it has a limited slip differential. My question: is limited slip an option that normally comes with an S model or was it something ordered special?

I'd also like to say I"m looking forward to meeting up with my NoVA Dorki brothers. You know who you are...

I've attached at least one pic with more to follow soon.

Very Nice!
I like the spoiler sticker!
Also, if you need any help decoding your option code let me know, I am pretty good at finding the codes. Not sure about the differential, but I think it might part of the PSM.

Borla exhaust? That looks more like the PSE(Porsche Sport Exhaust) to me. Can you take more pics from below the car?

You can have a TC (Traction Control) system or the Porsche Stability Management (PSM). I honestly doesn't see the difference between them but I don't have either. I agree it looks like a PSE exhaust.

Are you sure it has the BOSE system? If I remember correctly BOSE was introduced in the 02' 986 S.....although I did talk to someone who swore his 01' S had BOSE stamped on his door grilles and on a subwoofer in the rear compartment.
