Very nice!
I guess Europe has some other differences other than the rear bumper. Mine has silver roll guards and yours are black. |
what a beautiful car -- and a beautiful place to drive in! i am jealous.
although the strip can be fun to cruise -- just can't exactly push the car to its limits going 3 mph. |
I would not mind silver roll guards...but I keep my bumper! MUCH nicer :-)
Unfortunately we have these ugly bumperettes but at least we can have them painted to match the car. It makes a world of difference! :)

it looks to me like they are the same bumper, except the bumperettes are there simply because of the smaller shape of our license plates. Can our bumperettes simply be removed to gain the european look?
lol...i wouldn't like to have these...they look like "ADDED"...well, German engineers...or sorry, designers should I say, don't seem to integrate them in the design upfront...ach das ist schade :-)
Beautiful car and the scenery is breathtaking. Must be fun driving in that location. Congrats on the car it looks great. Excellent pictures.
It is absolute fun to drive these roads :-) No traffic, no tiptro :-)
very nice
Hey what a nice boxster... fields of barley.. perfect setting!
awsome! simply awsome! |
I concur :-)
I think the bumperettes are a legal requirement for the US. In Australia we have small numberplates too, but no need for the bumperthingies. Check out my little pic
wow those bumperettes really spoil the shape... does anyone know what they are for?
Certainly not a protection against big SUVs :-)
The bumperettes work believe me, I was rear ended by a toyota tacoma going 40-50 - I was standing still [it was loaded with concrete 10 bags], just a few scratches and dings.

ahhhhhhh, thanks for pointing out what these are for.. I had no idea i thought they were for some car reg plate or something lol
why dont they put these on UK cars for??? |
40-50 and few scratches? you mean 40 mph???? even kph i think any car would suffer more than just cosmetic damages...no?
I assume they were both moving so the impact was not equivalent to 40mph or he probably wouldn't be here to tell us about it.
