wings up, although i can never hear that thing coming up at speed. Does the little red light usually come on in the dash when the wing comes up at speed? Can't wait to get my friggin owners manual...

Nope, no light shows when it's up....but it goes up at 120 (kph that is) and down again at 80...

Mine goes up at 75 mph. and back down at 50 mph.

Boxster Red on black was my target color. I was shooting for a 00/01, preferrably a S, but had to have trip as this is my daily commuter. This car just presented itself at the dealer after a yr and a half of passive searching. I just couldn't resist it. :)
At first I thought it'd be underpowered but this thing can still go and sounds BADA$$

LOL. I wouldn't say BUT it's auto. I'd say AND it's auto. I got a 350Z 8 months ago in a stick. SUPER fun to drive race and stuff, but when it comes to my commute and DC traffic, it was HORRID. Heck it was half of the reason why i sold it. Plus Porsche's triptronic and auto transmission shifting is really superb. I LOVE it :)

I sell them on ebay.. i do porsche and boxster.. they do look good when the spoiler goes up and down.

i have seen a 986 sticker as well on ebay -- they are pretty neat. i have a triple black 00 S. I may have to do one of those :)

But seriously, my goal with this boxster is to keep it stock stock stock. I do like the idea of the sticker showing up when the spoiler comes up a lot though :)

I saw a black on red boxster like mine about a yr and a half ago and have passively been searching for this color combo since then. I finally ran across one in excellent shape, a bit older than i wanted but i jumped on it regardless. I couldn't be happier. The facts that the dash and doors and roll bars are also all red leather is just amazing too. One thing I did find out is that a black boxster with red interior will cost you considerably more :)
