My car is Basalt Black metallic, it’s a garage queen, and I try to keep it as clean as possible. Anyway, I've probably been asked if my car is blue 20 times. As you would imagine most times this happens is shortly after it has been washed and there is not a cloud in the sky.

yer mines bas black and i find after a good wax it has a blue tint or sometimes on a red hot day even slightly brown. It must be the colour, but bas black can polish up very well if time is taken..
