- Turn off lights
- Unbuckle seatbelt
- Turn off ignition
- Open door

I liked fatmike's comment on my MAF post, where I learnt the lesson not to buy K&N filters. So that cost me $50 wasted on a K&N filter, and then maybe $240 if I'm unlucky and have to replace the MAF...
