You were lucky that the bolts came right off. 3 snapped for me while doing a clutch job and it took a couple of hours to drill them out. Well at least I was lucky not to damage the head.

Are you sure its from the wheel? A failing serpentine belt can be intermittent and causes a knocking noise as it will be slipping on and off the pulleys. I suggest you have a look at the belt....

I agree that it cant be the PS as that is located on the wrong side to where I have the leak. The leak is only on both the inside as well as the outside of the bottom cover and it measures around 15...

Idle is perfect, as well as 4-5k range in all gears except 3rd. The strange thing is this happens only when I upshift from 2nd at high rpm. I will d/c the MAF anyway to see if the problem goes away.
