last posting was about how old water pump was dying and it was a good thing I had them change pump while motor mounts were being done. And how new motor mounts fixed many issues I was having.

OEM pump. Dead after 200 miles. Shops says lately 10% of Porsche parts they buy directly are defective. No damage. Shop had to eat $$$. On a lighter note, it cost $265.00 to change dash light....

Front motor mount mounts rubber was all but gone. This dropped the engine about 3/8 of an inch. This was enough to screw up the geometry of the drive train and made take offs from a dead stop...

I change my oil every 2500-3000 miles. Check oil pan, plug and cut open filter to look for signs of IMS failure, bits o' water pump impeller etc. If all is clean and in the clear, is it possible...
