As far as my Boxster, there is a noticeable change in how the car drives with it on. Seems to have less power. With my 300hp maxima there really doesn't seem to be a noticeable difference.

That's good to know. Although it doesn't happen in my Maxima. If the car needs cooling, compressor is on. If it needs heating it's not.

NO matter how cold it is, when I press the auto button on the climate control the AC goes on. Shouldn't it stay off if it is cold out.
