KW V3 install question

Picked up a set of KW V3 struts for my 986. I noticed one pair has these "tabs" on the bracket bent over while the other pair has the tabs out at 90 degrees.

I suspect they differentiate between...

As someone who has spent the last 40 years designing and developing both air cooled and liquid cooled engines I can tell you without reservation that it is ALWAYS better to allow engines to warm up...

Yes, it works! I not only lined the trunk but covered all the engine access panels and firewall as well. Really made an improvement in cabin noise.
