interesting, I did a bunch of 1UZ swaps into all sorts of cars 10+ years ago, bit light on for HP compared to using an audi v8, very thin on the ground these days here and all have 500k kms over here...

I think the issue is the immobilizer is also the body control module, the start part is easy to bypass if your doing an engine swap but the issue is the signal it generated to the ECU to allow start...
