got it
I figured it out…you have to remove the entire peddle assembly..Not difficult, 1 screw and pull up and out, then you push a small flat screwdriver up the back end and it slid right off.

I am trying to install a sprint booster in my 07 boxster, the manufacturers instructions are simple, just unplug the wiring harness from behind the accelerator peddle and place the booster in line....

no hack for newer cars
This hack does not work on the post 2005 cars, the fuse box is completely different. (at least it is on my 2007)
