Found out that before removing battery leads, put key in ignition and turn to position 1. It works. New battery installed in perfect peace.

Battery/alarm problem

:confused:I am trying to replace the battery on my 986. When I disconnect the negative lead, after about 5 seconds, the alarm sounds for 30 seconds (hell, that thing's loud!). It continues to sound...

Any solutions?

The fuel flap on mine won't lock. The locking needle moves out when I press the remote, but does not seem to have anything to lock in to. There appears to be a slot on the flap into which the needle...
