I bought it from an individual, and He stated that there is a full Mfg. warranty
until Spring of '09.

I have a 2003 with only 7,000 mi. (owned for 3 months)
Last Sunday after slowing down coming up to and then accelerating thru a green light on a US hwy I reaching nearly 60 mph I noticed the engine...
