2) The tire size is larger than the recommended Porsche standard which would have 235/35 for this wheel....

If you are looking to check the transmission fluid, the boxster uses the same fluid for both the brakes and transmission. You can check the level in the front trunk.

PSM is an option that depends on each person. I wanted it on mine as I wanted the extra safety factor. PASM uses the ceramic brakes and isn't a common option.
I believe PSM became standard in '05....

Here's an update on the problems with the IMS. There was some oil leaking from the IMS seal and it looks like when the dealer was inspecting the engine, they tried to tighten the bolt and it sheared...
