Question Weird lighting issue

Hello,

I have a 2003 Boxster S.

The lights in the glove box, trunk, frunk and the illuminated switches by the seat for the frunk and trunk do not turn off. This is even after locking the car....

I did a workaround in case anyone wants to know. I soldered new wires onto the existing 4 speaker wires in the frunk where the amp was. I then ran those through the firewall and connected to the head...

It's definitely not powering up. I'm assuming it's not because the fan isn't spinning. I might dig into the wiring next to see if it's cut anywhere.

Mine is an S too so I have to cut as well. From what I see it's easier to cut it out from the back is that what you did? There's a clear line where it looks like it should separate from what I see.

Agreed. At first I couldn't wrap my head around it based on the picture he sent and then it just clicked. One of THOSE days I guess.
I like this idea much better as the sensors don't get butchered...
