Yes, the microswitch is brand new...and yes I have tried just depressing to activate the switch with my finger. Unless theres another piece ( switch etc ) in there causing this then maybe the issue...

Did some quick tests all from front of relay panel
pole 30 and 86 both show 12V key off OR on
87 is zero...

I tried to get the car to recreate the issue by idling it in the driveway...now it will stall on occasion...every 15-20 minutes or so...but will start easily after it stalls...
