On my '99 Boxster at random times while listening to a CD, the system will switch to the radio (CR220). Pushing the TP button restores the CD. Sometimes it may happen 2-3 times in a couple of hours...

Washed the car, used Meguiars clay bar on the paint (made a noticeable difference) polished and waxed. Took about 4 hours but it was well worth the effort.

I just replaced the pads on all four wheels...

I just replaced the pads on all four wheels (along with rotors) about 4 months ago and used Akebono pads. Very happy with them, no noise, very little dust and stop great.
