I also researched Plastidip it was around $1000.

I think Plastidip lasts around 2 years and a wrap depending on the quality 4 years.

I just got a 98 with 24,000 miles. I'd replace the battery also unless it's been recently replaced and drain the gas or add an additive since gas can go bad if car sits to long.

I'm optimistic this time, since car reached the point of being un-drivable and know runs great. The prior issues were intermittent.

But I'll post a follow up after driving her for a week.

I had same thought how could so much water get in the tank. Mechanic says it's a bad batch of gas.

Car only had 24,000 miles when I bought it so possible it was their from car sitting for a while....

I have 1998 boxster I've had for about 6 weeks. I put around 500 miles on the car it ran perfectly the first 3 weeks. I dropped it off at the indy whom I purchased the car from for IMS Bearing...

I'm also considering a 98. It only has 19,000 miles, in show room condition. Dealer is asking 10k. Should I so ppi. Should I be worried bout the low mileage?
