Been a while but did some digging on my engine...

Been a while but did some digging on my engine upgrade. In 2015 tbe original tanked the IMS and was replaced with a 2009 Boxster S 3.4 that is a redesign excluding the IMS bearing completely....

Mine is a 2004 and the cluster is from an 02. I read about having the vin and odometer programmed into a unit on rennttech website if that would pose a problem.

Hey, found a nice 2002 Boxster S cluster with the white faces and it reads 175mph and mine is 150mph. Will this pose a problem swapping or will it not matter since it is electrical instead of cable...

Well I finally got around to replacing the steering lock assembly but instead of inserting to use lock I made my own support bracket for the back and now bypassed the lock to prevent future mishaps....

Well I found a website with detailed pictures on removing the part and funny enough it is easier to do this to replace the ignition switch as well without climbing under the dash and it is done...

Well I thought my ignition switch failed so painstakingly replaced it. Put key in and all it does is doing back and forth still. Took paperclip to remove key cylinder and the parts inside the housing...
