Thanks for the reply. I have no other electrical issues regarding starting the vehicle. Can this really cause such an isolated issue?

Just got my first Porsche, 2003 2.7 Boxster. Radio/CD is aftermarket Sony but bit outdated. Took it out and swapped for another unit I use in a different motor. Wiring adaptor looks a bit botched....
