It is more likely that the tracks that run on each side of the car that part of the top mechanism slides in need lubrication. Give it some lithium grease and the chugging should stop.

A dirty little secret is that a missing secondary cat will not throw a code, so if the state inspection just looks at codes, like in Massachusetts, then you will be fine with cat delete pipes instead.

If it doesn't turn on with A/C, but turns on high when hot, then it is most likely either the ballast resistor, or the relay. If it doesn't turn on ever, then it is most probably the fan itself.

Be careful with the parts. They are from a base. The muffler shows it. The suspension and transmission parts aren't the same. Whether they are the same vintage may also affect how useful the pile is!
