Yes with the cables disconnected it will still...

Hello,
I have a 98 986 vehicle will not shift into 2nd gear and sometimes has a hard time going into 1st as well.
Back story was was driving in 5th at a high rate of speed them downshifted straight...

my Mechanic has taken apart the transmission...

my Mechanic has taken apart the transmission looks like a bent shift rod, does anyone know if you can buy the rods separately does does it come as a kit

When connected to trans they are stuck in neutral. The shift rod sticking out of trans. There is only one. Is jammed. Cannot shift it by hand at the trans. Where as normally you can use one...
