From what I recall, the 9x7 shifter is 15% reduction over 986S and 996, and 25%...

I've gone from stock -> 987/997 -> Ben's

9x7 is nice improvement over stock for sure. A nice reduction in throw and a little tighter feeling. I used it and was happy with it for ~5 years.

Your 17s and 18s likely have the same overall diameter which is why both cars are over-reading by the same amount. Input your tire sizes into this calculator to confirm.

Definitely not my thing either but it actually looks less hideous in the renders on their site. With flush wheels and a lower ride height.

In that case, I would say just make sure the car is...

To my knowledge the only difference between the 2.5 and the 2.7/3.2 pipes is that the 2.5 test pipes have bungs for O2 sensors on them whereas the test pipes for 2.7s/3.2s do not?

This is because...

I don't believe they made a GT2 between 1999-01. 01 was the first year IIRC, so he must be mixing it up with the GT3.

If it is indeed a mk1 (996.1) GT3 bumper, it will fit as the headlights are...

I just swapped out a 997 shifter for Ben's short shifter (modified ebay shifter).

987/997 is about 15% shorter than stock. Ben's/ebay (and I think B&M) are all about 30-35% shorter than stock.
