I don't have all of the service records since there were multiple owners before me. I do have one that has indicates a new clutch and rear main seal was installed. I knew about IMS but was working...

Probable Blown Motor
So after cleaning my MAF and air filter I went for a drive. Car was normal the first two miles until a loud mechanical noise, loss of power, and clicking noise coming from the engine. Got it home...

My local auto parts store only had the K&N...
My local auto parts store only had the K&N products so that is what I got. Starting cleaning my Boxster's filter when I realized I also have a reusable filter in the GTI so did that one too.
