1) Many aftermarket rear sways fit both the 986 and 987.

2) Both the 986 base M030 and 987 base rear sway bars are 19.8mm.

I don't, but I know in my 986, which I imagine would be able to carry less, I've certainly gone over 500 on a handful of occasions. So no instant, catastrophic problems...but maybe some more...
