The car's got a twin turbo motor from a 996 so I think an aftermarket ECU is to be expected. The placement is odd but not particularly noteworthy as far as I know.

I love the color as well! CMP is one of the safest, cheapest tracks to start out on, it's definitely worth a trip if that's something you're interested in doing.
