Just an update I found the problem the bulb was...
Just an update I found the problem the bulb was blown on the dash so the hand brake switch wires I put a bit of wire across so the light was on and i pulled the top catch down and pressed on the 2...

I did test the switch with the buzzer on a multimeter, I'll replace the switch anyway, how can I get the roof to work. even when I first turn the key the bulb doesn't light up...
