I'm going to give the dealer a call regarding the countdown timer and will advise here. Like I said previously, I'm not going to rush in there blindly. In my opinion, at 7K miles the oil is fine...

Didn't the dealer want to replace the cabin air filter (part of the 20K service) or the engine air filter? The engine air filter service interval says 40K so I agree, you may be fine.

No - Climate Control is an option on the 987 and as was stated previously by someone, it's not something I would use often but if you have it great.
